Rotor fault diagnosis of induction motors
Bednařík, Václav ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focus on the faults of induction motors. In general terms to mechanical and electirc faults and their influence on induction motor. Further on the tests, that are conducted on induction motors to detect faults and states that precede them. Main part is devoted to rotor eccentricity and broken rotor bars. Eccentricity is solved within theoretical analysis and measurements on free damaged motors. As well as broken rotor bars, which are supplemented by measurements on three damaged rotors. There are two types of eccentricity, static and dynamic. Faults of broken rotor bars is solved in terms of postion of broken rotor bars and their number.
Analysis Of Broken Rotor Bars Fault In Inverter Fed Induction Motor By Means Of Motor Current Signature Analysis And Stray Flux Of Motor
Chernyavska, Ielyzaveta
In this paper the analysis of effect of broken rotor bar fault in squirrel-cage induction motor fed by frequency converter is presented. The motor current signature analysis as well as stray flux of motor were used in order to verify the capability of these techniques to identify the presence of different types of investigated fault in case of different types of supply and load. There were measured 4-pole motors with different level of broken rotor bar fault under different loads. Obtained data is presented in the form of graphs and tables and the comparison of obtained results was carried out.
Analysis of Eccentricity and Broken Rotor Bar Faults Effect on the Induction Motor Spectrums of Current and Stray Flux
Ishkova, Ielyzaveta
In this paper the analysis of effect of eccentricity and broken rotor bar faults on the spectrums of current and magnetic flux density outside the motor are presented. The behavior and origination of characteristic frequencies is presented and analysed. The results are presented in the form of figures illustrating the advantages of analysed diagnosis methods.

Analysis of damage to the rotor bars of induction machines
Henzel, Roman ; Michailidis, Petr (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with disorders of induction machines with focus on the failure or damage to the rotor bars or end rings. The work includes a literature research of the low resistance measurement, which can be used to determine the rotor bar resistance of the squirrel cage induction machine. The experimental measurement of the analyzed motor with the following conditions (short-circuit, no-load and load) is also includes. The magnetic model of the machine was described and created in MAXWELL and results were compared with the LabVIEW software (in order to verify the accuracy of the particular simulation). Analysis results evaluation of three phase squirrel cage induction machine with broken rotor bars was done.
